I would differ with just one of those points. The police investigators did want Zimmerman arrested and charged. The county Attorney resigned from the case only because he refused to charge Zimmerman. The police chief resigned from the case only because he went along to go along.
If this case had been handled properly in the beginning the race hustlers would have never gotten involved, and people in Oklahoma would have never heard of it.

This is one of the most accurate summaries of what went down from the law enforcement side of things. I was actually living in Orlando at the time when this occurred, and Sanford is a suburb town of Orlando.
Zimmerman would have been in no danger had he not gone full maverick
It's not illegal to follow someone as they walk through your neighborhood. What is illegal is when one of those parties assaults the other. That is the only issue in this case. Cloud and muck it up all you want but that doesn't change the facts. Zimmerman said he was in fear of losing his life and shot only in self defense. That's the issue that is being litigated. You can postulate and puff up your chest and beat your drum till the chickens come home but that doesn't change the facts.
