The only problem with a wrongful death trial is that Zimmerman has to have some tangible benefits that they can go after. He wasn't a wealthy man before all this started. Maybe try to attach his future income from movie or book deals? If he doesn't have anything you can't get anything.

Its already been tested. Zim will walk, and justifiably so.
This whole trial rests on the back of obummer.

Like the OJ trial. I understand this, but the castle doctrine doesn't allow for civil trials.
So now Zimmerman was in his castle?
Castle doctrine is very specific. He will walk. There won't be any riots. The parents have already said its not about race.

I'm not questioning whether or not he'll walk in the criminal trial.
BUT, When he chases this kid down the road, and he gets out of his car, is he still in his castle?
According to the law, he is.
He didn't chase the kid down. The kid, that has a criminal record, evidently hid or something, and when dispatch told zim to quit, he did, and was walking back to his car. He was accosted at that point.
