I finally got my daughter back out to the range, and now she's big enough to handle more than 22lr. Here's the first pics of her with my G17. What's the minimum age again for IDPA?:thumbup3:

She was mad at me for not bringing the suppressor for it since she thinks it's too loud. "Okay, okay. Next time I'll remember the suppressor. Sheesh!"

Great job Heath! No minimum age limit for IDPA. If they can show a maturity level that will maintain safety requirements and the ability to correctly handle the gun, they can compete. Encouragement at this point is the best method, along with discussions about safety and proper gun handling techniques.

Always like to see a kiddo out doing some plinking.
They're the ones who will fight the 2nd Amendment battles in the future.
Start them early, teach them safety, keep them intertested.

What kind of parent forgets their suppressor? Sheesh.
That's great though. Guns, cars, babysitting...She's becoming a very well rounded teenager!

I know, I know.:hithead:

Just let me know if you have or are going to show/tell Mrs. Kozmos about this. Mrs. idleclamp doesn't know there's photographic evidence floating around on the internet and I don't want to be, uh...blindsided.:buttkick:
