If people are so upset with the policy they should take a bus...or drive...I get so sick and tired of people saying, "this is a violation of my rights...." bla...bla...bla...show me where it says in the Constitution that you have the right to fly and not be screened. You will look a lifetime and never find it because its not a right it is a choice...if you don't like it don't fly take a diffrent mode of transportation.

Wow. Did you read that after you typed it?
Show me where you have a right to not have your computer searched by the gov.
Show me where you have the right not have your telephone tapped without a warrant.

I think the right to be free from unwarranted search and seizure is enough.

I've been trying to get looked at and touched since I was 13.

Thread winner here folks. :yelclap:

As much as I like the idea of bacon testing, some of us love bacon, and are allergic to it :cry3:

Personally, I'd have fun with it. I'd get some kind of finger paint that shows up on the scans and paint "MY JUNK" on my belly with an arrow pointing down.

The constitution grants freedom from unreasonable search and seizure...This is not unreasonable if you want to fly.

I guess that depends on how you define 'unreasonable' doesn't it.

Webster's says it is:
un·rea·son·a·ble/ˌənˈrēz(ə)nəbəl/Adjective
1. Not guided by or based on good sense.
2. Beyond the limits of acceptability or fairness.

Definition #1 fits here. Actually, so does #2.

Of course it's not unreasonable - if you work for the government.

Why do you not understand that in order to be Constitutionally searched by .gov, you need to have reason to be?

If a person is under suspicion of doing something illegal then be all means search em.

We could make flying illegal which would justify the searches but that might very well cause other issues. :D

1. Not guided by or based on good sense. Well after bombs, drugs, weapons, and explosive materials have been brought on board for the express purpose of criminal intent that endangers us all then I would think it is actually pretty good sense to do it.
2. Beyond the limits of acceptability or fairness. Well they are doing this to everyone that seems fair. Also I have already pointed out their are other modes of transportation available that one can take...

Definition #1 fits here. Actually, so does #2.

So I don't think #1 or #2 fit here....I guess it is just a matter of perception I don't see a problem with it and you do...I guess we can agree to disagree
