I know you're an expert, but for carrying in a suit - G19 isn't an option. This R9 has been zero maintenance, so not sure of your expert Internet regurgitation about that. Carry what's best for you - I'll do the same.

You keep mentioning price, that's not a concern for me. I'll happily pay for a hand built piece of art that doubles as the worlds smallest 9mm. If I need more than 7 rounds of 9mm, I'm screwed anyway...

Enjoy your Glock.

If you put forth some effort you can carry any full size handgun in a suit. Shoulder rig, appendix, SOB all work perfect with a suit, and allow you to carry an actual fighting gun. Or you could be lazy and utilize the worst method of carry. The R9 will follow the same path as all mouse guns. They won't hold up to actual use if you actually use it.

FWIW, SOB and shoulder carry is about as dumb as back pocket in terms of leverage :nono1: :) Appendix is about the best method of carry I can think of.

Mouse guns aren't worthless by any means, however, their limitations should be realized. They are "get off me guns" nothing more.

I really like the size , weight, and overall quality of the rohrbaugh. You get what you pay for. The recoil spring issue does not bother me as it is so light I understand why it's replacing is necessary. You can find these for around 850-900 if you LOOk HARD.

I wish Glock would make a slim line 9mm!!!!!!! The 26 is just too thick for me, I am 5'6 and 135#'s so I can't conceal many guns.

Shoulder Rig? You watch too many Miami Vice reruns... I'm not Sonny Crockett.

All your post shows is that you write without thinking. Suitcoats come on and off ALL DAY. How is that going to allow a full size carry? Have you ever worn a suit?

And now a Rohrbaugh won't hold up? Are you just afraid to say that there are other guns besides $400 Glocks?

Seriously, your expert advice is silly.

Only god is an expert. I just know a thing or two. If you love yours and it works out perfectly then I'm happy you. Buy another! It will help several people keep their jobs.

Whether or not you love something has no bearing on the reality of a particular gun. Just because it fits in your back pocket like your dick fits in your hand has nothing to do with whether or not it is any good. I love my Winchester 94. Its my favorite gun ever. But me simply loving it does not lessen its shortcomings. Its not super accurate, it is limited to certain types of ammo, reloading it is really really slow, it isn't particularly powerful, etc.

The R9 is a pistol with a lot of shortcomings. There is no slide stop, the mag release sucks, there is no checkering on the frame, its too small to get a good grip, changing the recoil spring frequently sucks, it is finicky with ammo, making sure the grip screws are all the way in so your trigger spring doesn't fall out and render your gun inoperable sucks, the quarter inch of freebore which results in keyholing sucks. People willfully ignore all of those things just because its conveniently small. It is not designed to do anything well except be small. It is not designed for you to shoot it much. The manufacturer has said as much to multiple people in the industry. All that glitters is not gold.

For every naysayer there is someone out there who loves theirs. Buy one and try it out. If you hate it sell it.

Ha!
You guys are arguing on the Internet.
Whomever wins has my permission go buy themselves a slurpee as an award.

I'll concede...I'm just an owner, he's an Internet copy/paste kid with silly jabs (dick fitting in your hand? I don't need to know what he does in his free time...).

I've learned not to argue with fools.

You have been for days, you must be a slow learner.

Sorry Jason, it was too easy.

You're right, Sam...

I just didn't know he was a fool until he started talking about the fit of men's genetalia in his hands.

Then he flat out lost me when he started talking about lever action rifles to prove his point about CCW options.

I'm happy Mike is going to buy him a slurpee...I feel sorry for him.
