Latest update says that the shooter was using a tactical vest, groin protector, leg protectors, throat protector AND a ballistic helmet. That would be an exceedingly hard target. About the only way to gain any tactical advantage would be to use his limited vision (due to the gas mask), to approach from his blind side and try to get as close as possible before engaging the gaps. I'd probably still try, but I wouldn't relish the idea.

Well, the anti-gun crowd in Congress have started... It is reported that the gunman had 4 weapons...a AR-15, a Remington 870 shotgun & 2- .40 cal Glocks........ Fox News just interviewed Congressman Peter King [R] New York who said he was going to be getting with the President and Justice officials this evening to see how one person could have amassed such a large cache of weapons!!!!!!!!!!!

James Holmes, DOB 12/13/1987, the car he was driving had Tenn license plates. The Batman movie portrays the OWS crowd in a negative vein,the new Batman movie featured the villain as an Occupy Wall Street type. I would first look at the possibility that James Holmes, DOB 12/13/1987, was caught up in the OWS movement took it upon himself to strike back against “THE MAN". Take the above link with a grain of salt. Who knows, at this point, what this *********'s problem was. But, it will be interesting to see if this POS truly was involved in the Occutard movement, and if so, how blatantly the media drive-bys will ignore that angle or make excuses for his actions.

This is especially disturbing to me today.
Last night me and a buddy were talking about different situations with terrorist. We discussed 9/11 and the federal building in OKC etc. discussing how these nut jobs think and where a terrorist (any shooter) could do maximum damage in a public place and my buddy said "imagine 2 terrorist with an AK going into a movie theater full of people and stand at the top of each isle shooting" he mentioned how many people would not realize there is an exit at each side of the stage and they would be trying to exit where the shooters were standing...etc. Anyway, now this happens and its way to disturbing that we had that conversation.
