Thought I'd be nice and share some pics, don't think I'll do that anymore. Guess I'm just ignorant.

Remember when this thread was just pictures of deer? That was pretty neat.

Yeah..... I remember this one time I came here and saw a picture of a deer with fairly short, but fairly wide antlers and thought, "that's pretty cool. I'd shoot him."

Try again...
It's not uncommon for a deer to add 20"-30" from 4.5 to 5.5 years old. Then anther 20"+ from 5.5 to 6.5.
20" added next year could very easily be 5" added per tine, puts him at possibly 10" tines by next year. Then no telling after that!
3.5 is no where near mature, 4.5 ain't it either.
To say that deer could never be 150" is an claim made out of ignorance.

I agree, it's not uncommon to see large increases at 4.5 to 5.5 but I don't think you'll see that with this deer. Look at his pattern growth from 2.5 to 3.5, not much (obviously this is somewhat subjective due to aging of each viewer). You really think this deer will go from having 1 inch brows (which he's shown as a 2.5 and .3.5 year old) to 5 inch brows at some point in his life? I think the same holds true for his G2s and G3s. For a typical 8 to become a 150 class deer, he has to be old and an have everything fall his way (mass, spread and great height which includes brows). I just don't see that ever happening for this 100", 3.5 year old deer. That said, he's a very cool, unique deer. Last post on this topic.

seems a little early but i saw a group of 5 bucks all together, but after watching for a while i saw two of them sparring and it looked to be a little rough already. One buck almost had the other pinned on the ground.
