Great looking birds dlbleak! Those big geese make for quite a feast!

We didn't get into big numbers today, but still had one of my favorite hunts of the year. We killed 4 different goose species. Lessers, specks, blues and a snow. Pretty cool mixed back all things considered. One of the guys I hunt with is going to have a mount made with the big eagle head blue and the snow.

Nice! Only seen a couple of blues ever. That one heavly spotted speck is beautiful.

We've seen a few blues this year, but man those birds seem to be really smart. And yes, that speck was tarred up!

We could only get out for an afternoon hunt close to home today, but we managed to kill a few and have a great time as usual. Just one week to go!

Looks like another great hunt Porter! Man, those geese are thick around here on the wheat fields.

Got out yesterday as well. Looked for open water and then camped on it. Only had the camera though.

Trying to decide whether to hunt in the morning or just go out with the camera again.
