It's pretty arrogant to think that you have the right to control another person's body. Please explain why you're advocating for the unborn and not the abused and neglected that are already here.

And, it is pretty arrogant to think you can kill another innocent life because it is inconvenient.

1. I believe abortion is intentional killing of an innocent life. The intentional killing of an innocent life is defined as murder. Murder is illegal in the US. The Supreme Court was wrong in their ruling.

2. I haven't stated anything about the abused and neglected. They need help. Send them to the Catholic Church; we try to help all who are in need.

You seem to spew whatever ******** you find convenient at the time that meets your agenda with no regard for facts or backing up your crap.

Frequently Asked Questions -
About Abortion Appointments

How long does it take?

The actual abortion procedure takes only 5-10 minutes for first trimester procedures, and 15-20 minutes for second trimester procedures, depending on gestation.

However, the abortion appointment will last 3-5 hours and will include paperwork, blood draw, laboratory tests on blood and urine, ultrasound examination, counseling about options, birth control, what to expect during and after the abortion, understanding the medications as well as the abortion procedure and giving informed consent, answering all your questions, taking medications or receiving injections, a pelvic examination followed by the medical procedure, and recovery. For second trimester D&E's, appointments will be made on 2 or 3 consecutive days. After the procedure there is in-clinic recovery time of 20-30 minutes for first trimester procedures and about an hour for second trimester procedures. Women who opt for sedation will have a longer in-clinic recovery period the day of their procedure.

There's plenty of facts if one cares to look deeper at it...posting "facts" about this topic is typically a waste of time, but they aren't hard to find. Abortion is immensely more complicated, and lasting, than the physical procedure itself. Have you talked to people that have had, or are thinking about getting, an abortion? Have you volunteered at Planned Parenthood? I'd very much love to hear your perspective, also, on it after you've worked with these people for a month or two.

By the way, what is my agenda?

I actually volunteered at Crisis Pregnancy Outreach here in Tulsa. What have you done?

The effects of an abortion on the mother is traumatic and life long and most are full of regret, but you dont hear about this side of it. The emotional and psychological scarring will never go away. Because, after the abortion, most realize what they have done by killing their child.

Nah...go talk to people that have had, or are thinking about getting, an abortion. Go volunteer at Planned Parenthood, and learn for yourself. I'd very much love to hear your perspective on it after you've worked with these people for a month or two.

We (church) have helped many young women who have become pregnant. In fact, we have an unwed mothers home in Del City. The girls can live there free of charge, finish their high school education, and learn infant care and parenting skills. They are also given the choice to give the infant up for adoption to a couple of their choosing.

I'd much rather support and volunteer for this type of establishment than the butcher house of Planned Parenthood.

If there is so much regret and council needed, then the person must know in their heart that they have done wrong.

Go get them, there are hundreds of thousands parent-less abused and neglected children in the U.S. Why do you need an invitation? I will not argue when life begins, but I will give testimonial that unwanted children live miserable lives. Are you willing to take responsibility for the abuse and neglect these children suffer? Would you allow an animal to be abused, neglected and suffer in pain?

Is the suffering of the mother not better than the suffering of a child?

INCIDENCE OF ABORTION

• Half of pregnancies among American women are unintended, and four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion.

•Twenty-one percent of all pregnancies (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion.

• In 2011, 1.06 million abortions were performed. From 1973 through 2011, nearly 53 million legal abortions occurred.

• Each year, 1.7% of women aged 15–44 have an abortion [2]. Half have had at least one previous abortion.

• At least half of American women will experience an unintended pregnancy by age 45, and at 2008 abortion rates, one in 10 women will have an abortion by age 20, one in four by age 30 and three in 10 by age 45.

Self-defense and Procreation are on the same level of human rights. However, abortion is the taking of an innocent life. Self-defense is taking the life of someone that has chosen the action of inflicting harm on another person.

Having an unwanted child isn't inflicting harm on another person, both the child and those forced to support it? Also do we have confirmation of when life begins or just opinions? Also you keep saying "innocent life", do you follow original sin doctrine?

Volunteered in various facilities for over 10 years now. I don't know anything about Crisis Pregnancy Outreach in Tulsa, but all of my experiences have been mind changing and quite rewarding.

I partly agree, and much of this part of the abortion makes it explicitly *not* easy, nor convenient.
