Independents can only vote in the Democratic primary not the Republican primary...WTF Oklahoma?

Yaa, RH informed me of that, I then informed my (I) wife last night. Now we are sure to have some nice dinner table talk tonight at our usual local Mexican joint for Taco Tuesday. She will tell me but Im pretty sure knowing her she voted for Bills ol lady.

I am an (R) so I voted before I had breakfast in case I F'd it up I have an excuse later. Low blood sugar is a terrible thing.

It's not an Oklahoma thing. Multiple states have closed primaries...

We have a right to vote. We don't have a right to vote in an election to determine a particular party's candidate.

Yep, about an hour or so ago. #631. Pretty strong turnout for my precinct at that time of day. A steady stream of people were showing up as I was leaving. It will be interesting to see what the final numbers of total votes are for my precinct when the polls close.

The line to vote in the Dem primary was about 8 people deep when I arrived to vote at my precinct, no wait at all to vote in the Republican primary. I've never experienced that before at my precinct in a primary election.

I did see an Indy wanting to vote in the Republican primary leave when they were informed they couldn't cast a ballot. Republicans should probably reconsider opening up the primaries and run-offs to Independents like the Dems have.

Yep, short lines in Piedmont about 3:30. I'm independent and asked for a dem ballot (they acted like I was a real outlander); there were several dems I'd never heard of running for president; our MSM does a great job of keeping the public informed.:puke:

Voted against Clinton, for Sanders.
