July 25 Protester carrying rifle was shot and killed as he approached a car. Details developing.

According to a witness, the incident began when the driver on Fourth Street honked, turned right and sped down Congress, driving through the crowd. He appeared to hit an orange barrier in the road and came to a stop, said Michael Capochiano, who attended the protest.

“There were people around the car, yelling, and people sounding like they were frightened,” Capochiano said.

A protester with a rifle approached the car, and the driver pointed his gun outside the window, Capochiano said. The driver fired several shots, then sped away, he said.

The man with the rifle “dropped to the ground when he got shot,” Capochiano said.

I watched the video and it raised some questions. I heard 8 gunshots, the 5 first ones appeared to be from a rifle and the last 3 seemed handgun.

Those were definitely rifle shots at first.
Sounds like the guy in the car got shot at, so he pulled his pistol and protected himself.

Let me point out the title to the video is wrong. It is NOT the video to the fatal shooting. It shows nothing of the shooting except the idiots running away after the gunfire. At best it is a sound recording of five shots during the shouting and a very faint few shots afterward.
