yeah I made an account and pulled my estimated amounts, early at 62 is on $650 a month less. I was surprised, thought it might be more.

yeah folks been saying that since I started my career 30 years ago, but I'm sure your right this time too. They thought that then. 62 is only a bit over 10 years.
Social Security won't actually be bankrupt, I don't think.
Because big gov (left and right) will stave off bankruptcy by running the money printers full blast and your Social Security check will be like buying bread in the Weimar Republic.

For me, my last day at the office is this Thursday and 12/31/2020 is my last day at the company after 22.5 years and retirement will officially start.

They will just keep raising the ‘full’ retirement age, although, I think 70 is about the reasonable limit. OR, they will start reducing payment by percentage until its truly tapped dry.

Being a self employed rancher I don’t ever see retirement in my future. Working until you die is pretty much the norm for people in my business, but it’s a good business to be in. Probably just gonna drop dead some day riding my horse. Honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.
