When you say illegal alien, if you mean asylum seeker, then every one is screened and any who have symptoms are tested. Unaccompanied minors may be tested every three days.

If you mean those that enter illegally and are not captured, then obviously they will not receive government (federal or state) testing.

But interestingly, the percentage of asylum seekers entering Texas that test positive for covid is less than the percentage for the state of Texas.
