Sadly, we went to Scheels again today and found 2 20 ga. o/u we couldn't live without.

These two had great engraving on them, but the wood was just a little bit lacking in the wow factor, but they had five more in the back, and allowed us to pick out the ones that had the best looking wood furniture on them, they are just absolutely beautiful!

I may post pictures after Christmas, but these are the ones we turned down.

I posted earlier in this thread about my past visits to the SLC and Great Falls, MT Scheels. They were great. Wife and I had to do some Christmas shopping today and unfortunately, Woodland Hills mall was part of the agenda as well as BPS, because I have some gift cards to spend. Arrived at WHs Mall about 11am. Luckily found a good parking spot close to Scheels. I'll tell you what, it's more amazing than I remember the other two locations I've visited. THe place is giant, very well stocked with everything outdoors. Hunting, firearms, fishing, clothing, camping, game prep, etc. You name it they have it. If you combined, BPS, Academy, Cabelas, Sportsworld, Sun & Ski Sports, etc, Scheels would still have more to offer. I was thoroughly impressed with what they offered and had available on their sales floor. It was crowded but not like I thought it would be this time of year/season. I'd highly recommend you take a look and if you don't like crowds then give it to mid January and make the trip over.

I just hope Scheels in Tulsa put a big dent in Sports World, as this family owned store for many years been controling the shooting landscape in Tulsa and it's been their way or you get nothing your way.
I don’t know anything about Sports World, but I’d think they’re going to have an uphill battle to compete with Scheels.

I 100% agree! I shopped Sports World years ago, but I will always go elsewhere. They’ve gotten a little too big for their britches and need to be put in their place.

I hope Schell's treats their employee's better then they are treated at Sports World, at Sports World employee's get no breaks there is only one small rest room for employee's that employee's have to share with customers, there is no lunch break store has a small cafe but employee's can't use it store does provide a small lunch for employee's but it has to be eaten at your work station and if a customer needs help you stop eating food is being taken to the family members all day and they sit and eat a lot and start and working houres at store are from 9am to 6pm try standing on your feet and that without any break.
I worked their part time at Christmas a while back pay was $8.25 an hour.

LOL.... wut? You may not like them or whatever but it's just plain retarded to think they control the "shooting landscape" whatever that means.
