Was going to use pure tung oil, but as much as this wood it soaked it up, it'd take probably 8 weeks or more to cure. So I made my own danish oil out of the pure tung I had on hand. It'll work.

Now to figure out what I want to do for the lids and whether I want to engrave the names or have them lasered.

Well since @Cowcatcher is to busy with cows and @Timmy59 is probably processing something. I figured I would give this thread a bump. So with my deciding to do some reloading. It has set off all this search for the perfect reloading table. That has spawned numerous ideas in my head but to be honest. Its way to hot for any of them to come to fruition for a while. So I needed a temp solution on the cheap to get me reloading inside in my office in the HVAC.

So a trip to Chinamart AKA Harbor Frieght $17 bucks later I had a generic workmate table. Its about as sturdy as 80 year old lady on steps but it will work. 30 minutes to put it together with the boy. Then dug out a piece of scrap I had for a top, its 33"x24" I went ahead and bought a Lee Bench plate so I could pull the press and fold up to get it out of the way. I wanted the press a little higher so the supplied 1.5 elevators bolts wouldn't work. So a quick trip to Lowes who didn't have long elevator bolts but did have 3" carrige bolts. With a bit of grinding and voilà custom elevator bolts to install a piece of 2x4 in between the mount and base. Here is what I ended up with. Adding the additional board gave it some more support. I have primed, seated bullets and crimped with no issues. I am not sure how it will do on resizing but if its a problem I will engineer a way to add some weight to the back.
