I have carried knives up to $2500 and used them, custom Hinderers, Munroes, etc..... But dollar for dollar to me there is not much better for the price/performance balance than a Zero Tolerane for EDC.
I say push the legalize Marijuana laws and then everyone will be so stoned you might have a chance at prices coming back down as they all start to line up at the fast food locations.
I second this statement. If it keeps me and the family safe the weapon has done it's job.
Reliability to me is the #1 issue.
I have seen high priced guns that I wouldn't trust and ones I would not think to ever pick up, for fear of tetanus, that would never miss a beat.
I believe sometimes...
The only way it will become the new normal is if they slip something small through quickly and the manufacturers don't have time to respond. Cutting it off quickly would leave us with these inflated prices forever. Remember in early 80's when a class 3 MP5 was $400 and now sells for north of...
Starting to wonder about some of the Walmart stores. I have been checking in at two for the last 2 weeks and they have had nothing in for 223/556. Starting to think they are running a private enterprise out the back :)
I was going the place my brother-in-law on there as the administrator until they reach 18. I know the ATF allows someone to hold them until the kids reach the legal age. I am not as worried about the NFA stuff now, but down the line should this be the start of a completely different egun...
If it is Alamo it is now closed. I have lived here my whole life and have known a lot of shooters but have never heard of any actual ranges. If I can get some grass cut down this winter I plan on putting in a couple of lanes on my back acerage. That way I won't have to pay to play.
Sounds great. I have a new(at least to me) Sig 556 Swat coming and I want to try and sight it in somewhere. I am going to sell my older Colt HBAR 20" as I have always wanted something shorter, but because of the current market had to move up my purchase time frame just in case. Luckily I have...
Good tip. Yeah I noticed some were serviceable and some were not. I was looking at gemtech and surefire. I would like a serviceable can regardless just to keep it clean and extend the life on it.
I am going to be setting up a trust to try and beat off all the Gun haters, as I am afraid this will be what they consider a loophole that needs closing. I am trying to decide what gun to do first and looking for ideas. I only have a few guns by I am looking to either do my 22lr plinker or my...
I wonder in all the new anti-gun legislation if they will take the trust option away. Guess I had better get one done beforehand and hope those grandfathered in survive.
Thanks for listing one of the good guys. Just checked out their site and seems like it is a good go to for reloading. Have thought about getting into reloading sometime now I have a good source ;)
FYI magpul says life expectancy of a pmag is 60k rounds. But their have been reports of pmags with 100 to 120k through still going strong. They had an industry rep respond to a thread on arfcom.
With the current price of ammo I don't think anyone will get to find out what the limit is. :uhh:
