Oh, it's just fine and dandy - personally I think they should also be charged interest at whatever the average credit card rate is. But it's also still something else that wasn't explained to people up front - and I'm sure none of them would have taken it to begin with if they'd known it was more than their fair share.
I'm assuming this is a joke.

Either way Obamacare ain't going away. Get used to it or just ***** on a forum. The GOP had a chance and blew it.
Exactly. It's a difficult problem to solve. It'll likely be a hot topic for the next presidential election. What do you all think is the best solution for our country's health system?

Modify Obamacare. Force Corporations to comply. Force insurance companies to comply. Force Doctors to comply. Force Hospitals to comply.

Any company with 1 or more employees must pay into a healthcare AND retirement fund. Employees must match the contribution. Better yet make Companies match whatever the employee contributes.

One advantage of a govt. healthcare system is that companies would no longer have to worry about it. Companies could stop wasting time and resources dealing with healthcare, which would leave them to do what they intend to be doing--their business. I realize there are disadvantages to such a system, but I hate for companies to have to deal with such a mess. I'm almost convinced that a reworked Medicare could work for everyone, especially because we already have much of the infrastructure in place.

I hope so. Since Obamacare was rammed down our throats(Pelosi: "We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It"), I hope it is shoved up the arse of the lib dems on their way out the door after being voted out by irate voters come 2016 elections. Only thing is that their are too many already on the .gov dole/mammary gland(soon more to come if Obama gets his immigration wishes) that could "buy" the election for the leftwingers. Then it will be too late for the lib college students to have an epiphany and figure out that their socialist profs are only lib Kool-Aid dispensers and figure out that Obama's and the lib dem's socialist utopian freebie .gov is a big crock of fecal matter.

How do you propose we set up our health care system?

The companies I and my wife are associated with, don't and didn't deal with health care before Obama care. It was between us and them. Way back in the day, yes. We had a health care clerk, but (I might be wrong) that went away with HIPPA?
What ever it was, it went away, and it was a good thing. That health care clerk was a company rep. That never set well with me.

Heck, I'm in total care of the VA now anyway so the commies have me.

How do you propose we set up our health care system?

If a company provides healthcare to its employees, it's spending much time and resources on healthcare that it could otherwise be spending on conducting its business. Obamacare didn't create this dynamic, but it has added to it.

Yes, somewhere in the structure of the company, there are folks that deal with health care. They would be the bean counters and HR folks that determine the level of care.

Thankfully the days of completing a health care form and giving it to a human in the companies is done.

Example: I got poison Ivy. Not a big deal, I get it all the time. went to the Doc, and got the stuff I need to alleviate it. I got a notice to contact the HR person for additional info.

She asked personal questions about how I got it, etc.

I got it falling from a tree while hunting (way back in the day before harnesses).

What disturbed me was that they could have said no, if they had a no gun policy or whatever.

Its kind of far fetched, but it did make me uncomfortable having to answer questions to a company clerk.
