The low-profile adapter is cool, but may be difficult to get off the socket. But do what you have to do....

If access/clearance is your issue, you could also take your socket to the machine shop and cut it shorter.

I’ve got one (not the size mouthpiece needs) that I cut down on my bandsaw. Sometimes it takes tools to make tools.

Mill 4-6 flats on the 1/2” socket and use a box end wrench. Similar to what a spark plug socket does. It gets no closer than that.

yea, it's one I welded up years ago to fit in a specific spot. Grinder > Mice... lol
