I accidentally bought a buttload of tracer ammo thinking it was XM-193 (slipped up and bought XM-196) before all this scare crap went down. I think I've got close to 500rds left. For the longest time you couldn't shoot it for fear of lighting the countryside on fire though.
Ammo is a commodity just as silver and gold. I certainly wouldn't buy it, but I don't need it. Someone who needs it will pay. Until that bubble bursts, it'll be that way.
I see Armslist is in the secondary now. All those owners who bought overpriced stuff now marking up and flipping what they bought. Average AR over $2k... As long as these newbs and unprepared don't buy in, prices ought to come down
