A question for you guys - do you know what the FBI rated as the #1 "1-shot stop" of all time is, in terms of cartridge and load over the past 30-40 years? if you don't know the answer, I'll be back in a couple of hours and let you know....

No! - I am a retired LEO and receive a newsletter that is published every 3- years that lists gunshots, wounds, weapons, distance, etc., that is not made available to the general public or from on-line searches...

I shot stop caliber and handgun combination statistics are worthless. Only one shot is a guaranteed dead right there hit and thats to completetly shut down the cental nervous system.

Never bring a handgun to a gun fight. 5.56 TAP to the cranium. You have a 3pound gun with a 5pound trigger and a 4" sight radius, or a 8pound gun with 3 pound trigger and a 20" sight radius... My odds are on the rifle.
