Why do you think you need a .920 barrel in .22 LR?

Here is my version of a custom 10/22 , scope is a Leupold 6.5 x 20 efr set up for silhouette . The barrel is a Green Mountain. I used a deep socket wrapped with sand paper to open up the stock were it meets the reciever.

Since you asked, I was kinda wondering the same thing. Is there that much difference in accuracy between the stock barrel and the. 920 barrel ?

I don't know. The logical explanation I guess would be that heat would be more evenly distributed, for sustained shooting that would maintain accuracy? I honestly don't know.

I would assume the same but for me I don't think I could justify the cost. I only have the 10 round magazine for mine so I don't think I can empty, reload, and empty fast enough for the heat to be a problem.
Maybe silhouette shooting or competitive shooting it's worth the money.
