Sure, but not everyone that grows up without a father ends up in prison. And likewise there are those that grew up in normal families. There are many issues at work in our society that help individuals make good or wrong decisions. Jumping to the conclusion that all we have to do is restore the traditional family will cause us to overlook multiple other issues that need attention also.

You are not wrong, that is probably the Number 1 issue.

Several people around here see everything as either all black or all white. I'm sure you know that though...

I didnt say it was all black or white.
Try telling me if a boy grows up with a father (as long as hes a respectable man) the boy isnt more of a responsible man? If the ones in Chicago had a dad, there is a huge chance there would be a different atmosphere there. Not 100% but a lot. And people born in that culture are already at a huge disadvantage dad or not.
