That is what I like to hear.
Friend removed a shoulder from a deer with a softpoint flatbase 30-06 150gr and could not find any blood.
Thought he missed.. I told him and his son to keep looking and walk 100 yards.. they found it at 80 yards.

some deer just do not die or do not know they are dead yet and some don't bleed.

But when the bullet makes mush if the internals they expire right there or just a few feet away is what I have noticed. Thanks again dlbleak

I used to hate the idea of it when I was young. I had a bunch of rabbits once and the neighbor dog got into our yard and tore almost all of them up.
I had 1 left that was alive.. I would have much rather killed them myself in a more humane way.

My first chickens were my friends. First one died and I buried it. This was just 3 years ago though..The next one was a mouthy rooster. I was glad to end him.
Very tasty.. starting to get immune to it.
