Looks nice! I;m going to have to research that a little. I do love the .17 cals. The .17 Rem is my go to coyote gun and a real tack driver.
there is a time when velocity overcomes bullet diameter for internal damage.
I have seen a .17HMR in a Pdog field and I thought that is neat. I have kinda wanted one since. I just can't get past the idea that I can reload a .223 for just a little more than I would pay for .17HMR ammo and the .223 reload would do a lot more than a .17 HMR could do. The WSM will get the same logic applied to it.
But if Savage would make one with a laminated stock and a heavy snake fluted stainless barrel i might have to use emotion to buy it and tell logic to get back.
