JMB would've saved a lot of people from ridicule if he'd just put a crescent shaped groove right there and said "that's how you put it back together". 
High polished stainless is unforgiving.

I still need to re-stake the front sight and final fit the "drop-in" grip safety. Gonna shoot it Saturday.
