1911 Mag Preferences.

Anyone tried Brownells 1911 mags? Thinking about ordering some. The black finish looks nice.

Tripp cobras for the win, or Wilson Combat.

Wilson Combat ETMs. Much better improved version of the 47D.

Borrow someones Tripp's to see if you like their bases, same for the Wilson's.

In the end - Tripp, W47D or the ETMs are the 'standards'. Could try ACT, CMC, DL Sport, Novak, Brown..... if you so desire.

I'm a big Metalform mag kinda guy. Never ever had a problem with a single one I've owned.

I use Wilson's and so far "Knock on wood" have never had a problem.

Wilson ETM's or Tripp.

I use and love ed brown "8 pack" mags I've got a couple of wilsons and several GI mags but the Ed browns are fantastic. Best I've tried.
