Did anyone else get their call to join this year? I have been on the waiting list since summer and got the call the other night. The last I heard they had 140 openings and 192 applicants.

I talked to one of the officers this evening and he said that they were contacting the persons on the list that were lucky enough to be one the 146(?) out of about 250 they had on the waiting list. So I guess if you get contacted in the next week you are in. There is going to be a mandatory orientation on the 21st of Jan at 4PM at the range. So mark your calenders so if you get called you have it on your schedule.
Not always. I've seen it open up some years. Seems like it was open, then closed, then open again one year. One of you can thank me, I let mine go this year.
