2019 Deer Hunting

This “target” buck survived, but he broke off 9 points and probably lost close to a hundred pounds. I’m really excited to see the headgear he will grow this year.

I finally got a couple deer heads hung in my OK house.

Good bucks on the wall! I read all but the last sentence and first thought he lost more than a 100#, he lost all of his body. (Shoulder mount) lol

That’s the only “trophy” buck my Dad ever killed. He’s got a giant frame and gross scores 150”, but he’s actually 10 inches smaller that the middle buck. The buck on the left was killed on my place but by my uncle. My son mounted it for him, and I got it when I bought this house.

Really? That's incredible. You're a blessed man, as is your family.

After many years of erratic work schedules and limited time to actually “hunt”, this is a good reminder of what it’s really all about.
