Did you shoot the mojo in the excitementSet up a little further down river than yesterday, and evidently, the ducks liked it. Unfortunately, they all came in before legal shooting time, and only a bufflehead came in after.
Sometime before daylight, the mojo dropped a wing.

Drove over 150 miles yesterday about 2pm through Alfalfa, Grant, Kay, Osage and Washington counties to Bartlesville along highway 64/60 and did not see a single duck or goose in the air, on the water or land.I set my a frame yesterday where I thought there’d be no ice. I was wrong. Had a pre dawn flight of a dozen mallards get down 200 yards away. Too much ice between us. Such is life. Not much action in Okfuskee county. Anyone seeing any birds?
You think this big front will push some more birds down?Drove over 150 miles yesterday about 2pm through Alfalfa, Grant, Kay, Osage and Washington counties to Bartlesville along highway 64/60 and did not see a single duck or goose in the air, on the water or land.
Somewhere I'm sure they will. I think my area had a major shift in migration, they just don't come here anymore for whatever reasons. Got several ponds in several counties and it's been like this for 3 or 4 years now, with each year getting worse. I've been one time this year on opening morning just so I could take the dog. We usually would hunt 30-40 days a season prior on both water and cut grain, and rarely not have a 3-4 man limit, several hundred birds a season. You think this big front will push some more birds down?
