Yard deer are off limits. Wife can almost hand feed the does when rut doesn’t have them so spooky.
I’m still out there looking for a big buck but not having any success. Sitting in the stand as we speak.

I had a first this evening while hunting. I had to try very hard not to burst out in laughter. There were two young bucks wrestling around about 40 yards in front of me. The bigger one would get bored and go back to eating while the smaller one would sneak up behind him and poke him in the rear end with his little antler. It happened about five different times. It was pretty dang funny to watch. Here’s a pic of the little guys. It’s not a great picture, but they are the two that are head to head.

My daughter killed a big 6 pt tonight, older deer, probably a good one to get gone
