22 ammo prices going down?

The various Walmarts that I use have had that Federal ammo (off and on) for months. I've been buying 2 boxes every time I see it in stock.

I may not shoot it all, but I have a feeling the ammo may come in handy in the coming years.
I can trade it, if nothing else.

Actually that price is up from about a year ago. They were selling the same ammo for 5.5 cents a round 12 to 18 months ago and have raised it to 6.5 cents a round at my Walmart.

Unfortunately, it is crap ammo.....

It needs to break, paying $.10-11/rd for bulk .22lr ain’t my thing. Still less than $.30-35/rd 9mm or $.60/rd 5.56, but not great.

I’m glad I stocked up when I did. I’d be glad to stock up again if the prices pull back some.
