I have a Ruger SP101, new model, that I'm fond of.
It's very accurate even if it does have a heavy trigger/hammer spring.

In single action I'll take a single ten or convertible single six.

The older smiths are the purtiest and have by far the best trigger. You just don't see a good one up for sale very often.

dlbleak and I were just having this discussion this morning. We both have Smith 18s and they are great machines. But I'd still like a Ruger Bearcat in stainless...
