Cabelas, AIM and a few others have ammo in stock. Prices and selection? Not so great..........
Worth checking and rechecking area WM's. The employees apparently don't know the delivery schedule, but it seems to arrive often.

Cabela's still has PMC X-TAC 5.56 55gr in stock at $7.99 per box. Just ordered 50 boxes. On the main page, there's a link for a $20 off $150 coupon or you can do Free shipping on orders over $45. Not an great deal compared to the same ammo at $322 for 1k rounds back when it was in stock at Sportsman's Guide, but it's apparently not much more than some Walmarts are selling XM193 for. Just figured I'd pass this along. One of the few places that had somewhat decent priced ammo in stock. I called Walmart and unless you're there when they get a shipment in, you're SOL because all the .223 they have is pretty much sold as soon as it arrives and there's no guarantee that every ammo delivery contains .223.

While I absolutely hope that this craze is temporary, I had the means and the empty ammo cans so I decided to go ahead and stock up. Happy ammo hunting to everyone.

By the way, I'll let you guys in on a little secret that the Walmart associates won't tell you. They have more ammo in the back. They put some up at various times throughout the day so the horders don't come in and wipe them out. My local WalMart likes to put up 15 boxes of Tula .223, 6 boxes of 100-round Federal 9mm and 6 boxes of Tula 7.62 at one time.

I'll have to check out Academy. I don't know if there are any other Evans around OKC or Tulsa but the one in Enid had 20 round boxes of Armscor for 8.99 until me and a buddy emptied the shelf, not great but I just bought enough to load my mags.
