Oklahoma is one of the states that do not require a photo ID to vote.

But they do. When we voted early a few days ago, a sign in the room where voting was going on stated that before getting to the tables for one's ballots, one needed their green application sheet and a photo ID.

I get asked for Id every time and they say you can't vote without one.

Of course they ask. They have to.

But you CAN vote a provisional ballot along with an affidavit without an ID (still must be registered though). MAY have to go to the election board office to do that though (IDK), same as early voting. Individual precinct polling places probably aren't set up to do that, but then again they may be.

Or use a voter ID card.
