The newest of my small collection of weapon systems... THE .50 BEOWULF

Ya, Im proud of it, bought the upper and the YHM lower from Marks Firearms here in Moore, which whom I highly recommend.

Does any other OSA members use this caliber? I plan on using it for hunting down in SE OKLA. Mainly whitetail deer and feral hogs, might try it out on a yote or two...
I have a Nikon 3-9 i will be using because I cannot afford another EOtech right now. Although the range is limited to within 200 yards the Nikon Im sure will hold up to the recoil of the AR.

How do ya'll have yours setup? What ammo selection do you prefer for hunting?
Do you use a brake? Etc...

I know some MAY think the beowulf would be overkill for a deer, but I dont understand overkill...lol It doesnt ruin as much meat as a fast bullet and can break both shoulders for easy tracking.

I use a .54 when I Blackpowder, so I got you beat by .04 and you are right they usually don't run far!

Congrats, I hope to have my Grendel up and running for Deer Season.
