Whoa, those bearings look rough! You are going to have a good old truck that you know all about it!
I like those vehicles I know things are gone through!
I'd sure like to find a mid 70's 3/4 ton 4x4 Ford pickup. I've got a pretty good 390 engine that was on propane most of the time.
Man, that's a lot of work going into that old truck, but it's going to be a dependable driver when your done!
So, I have a question. I was told that if I rig up some mud flaps that it can be driven legally?

You don't have to have a hood in Oklahoma. Take the hood off the front, lay it across the frame rails, and go.
Gravel flaps are legal. Otherwise no bobtail semi tractors could drive on the roads.
