I twice had the "privilege" of driving new F550 ext-cab 4x4 cab and chassis from OKC to Harper, KS. Needed two days off and bruised kidney therapy both times afterwards lol. Even let most of the air out of the duals.

I’ve made the 1000 mile round trip up there in my F550 several times, and even with a bed, you get a pretty good jarring. You have my sympathies doing that without a bed.

I got the bed and a grill for $450. The chrome was peeling bad on my grill. I haven’t added everything up but quick head math says about $1100. That includes the used tires and bringing the tag up to date. It’s probably a little more. I’ll add it up later
