The only hobbie I ever had that made me money was when I had a full shop and a 10,000 lb. 2 post lift. All 4 of my vehicles never saw a mechanic shop other than mine. I saved literally 10s of thousands of dollars and I enjoyed wrenching.
I didnt feel right if I didnt have diesel grease under my fingernails lol.
Everything from tire rotation, brake jobs to engine swaps.
I miss my shop but my EX wife caused me to have to sell. @$%#!
When the housing bubble pops, I plan to try and buy that property back in Tuttle.
Everything is for sale for the right price.

Bag a moth balls under the hood somewhere away from heat. We have a cake pan with a lid on it that is full of mothballs in our Jeep when in Colorado, uncover it and slide it under the engine area, keeps the vermin out of the engine when we park it and go hiking. I keep it under my extra vehicles in my barn here as well. And there is some spray to be had had Walmart called rat stop. I keep it sprayed over the engine also.

We have towed a few vehicles back off the trail that within a couple hours vermin wreaked havoc on wiring.
