I just stumbled across a load with AA#5 in my notes that topped out at 1200FPS ... by the book. Never ran it across a chrono.

Thanks for all the info. I found some VV 3N38. It looks like plenty of data for heavier 9mm and 10mm stuff.

Pretty impressed with this load. Comp kept it very flat. No pressure signs with a low SD. Mixed brass too.

Very nice. I've never messed with any of the VV powders. Mayhaps I should.

But I have a pile of more traditional powder to burn through first.

I used to run them when I shot USPSA for how clean burning they were. Can't remember which one now though. I'm pretty impressed with 3N38 for both 9 and 10 though
