Currently I am using 115 gr +P+ JHPs for my 9mm Self Defense ammo.

I bet they will get the job done, if need be.

The 9mm is a 35,000 psi, +P is
38,500 psi and +P+ is 40,000 psi. The 357 SIG is a 40,000 psi. Bullets
of the same weight will approximate the same velocities in SIG and +P+.
The difference is gun construction, all 9mm's will not handle +P+. All
of the 357 SIG's are made to handle the pressures for the caliber.

Winchester Ranger 127 +P+ (RA9TA) for 12 month carry. It has a long documented history of excellent results. It has run well (and accurately) in everything in which I've tried.

Go to the Dr. Anderson load recommendations, on this forum, for more info on this and other choices in many calibers.

Absolutely not.

I'm just saying...
If the tests are legit, this seems like it may be a viable round.
2x the speed, good expansion & body damage, no over penetration if bullet passes through to hit walls.

Check what the .40 rd does in this test.

I carry federal hst 124 gr standard load. I believe the 124 grain at a higher velocity has more kinetic energy than a hst 147 but eother way i have been led to believe they penetrate farther but this is all just my personal opinion
