    Full size M&P 9's are considerably slimmer in the grip than glocks. Id start with those and work your way down from there.

    Exactly. If a range rental feels too big, pull the backstrap off the gun and try it.

    Ruger EC9s. Single stack 9. I love mine. I've had several friends and family get themselves one after letting them shoot mine.

    Kel-Tec PF9 is the smallest I've fired, but it kicks like a mule.

    The SCCY CPX-2 is only slighly larger, but has a wider/padded backstrap and is much more comfortable to shoot.

    Guess those are the only small nines I've shot... :anyone:

    Lots of advice. Just what I was looking for! I don't have a lot of experience with different handguns.
