9yr old shooting his first bow

Bought my son his first real bow, a Hoyt Ruckus. Took him out today to shoot for the first time. Up till now he's been shooting a Bear Brave which was great for technique but incredibly weak.

Anyway, this was his first group of 5 arrows out of the bow:

Needless to say, I was pretty proud of him and I'm excited what he'll be able to do in the future!

Now I just need to figure out some decent public hunting to get him exposed to that as well so he can hunt next year...

My son didn't really understand if it was good or not, he was more concerned with being able to pull the string back and have proper form so he wouldn't hit his forearm.

I, on the other hand, had a grin from ear to ear
