Absentee Voting

I'm thinking of doing the absentee voting thing this time around since there is an option where you don't need to get it notarized or witnessed.

It will be my first time to vote absentee and from what I understand you just send in a copy of your ID with the ballot.

Is there any good reason not to vote this way?

I could be wrong but I don't think that's going to be happening in Shawnee. Also, I drop my mail directly at the Post Office. I don't know if that makes any difference but I'm not too worried about it here.

I’d be more worried about the destination. Someone has to open the ballots and feed them into the machine. Oops, where did that right-leaning ballot go? Oh well, next. Oops, where did...

I've voted absentee for years . . . only complaint I have is that there isn't an automatic verification that my ballot has been received.

I do it and it works for me. Only complaints I have are no verification of my vote, and you have to send in your ballot before some things come out on the candidates.

I want to encourage everyone who can vote in person, please do. Especially if you're in Kendra Horn's district. Who knows what kind of shenanigans might go on there.
This election is like no other.

Never did absentee. I have did early voting. I prefer to verify my vote is counted.
