Accidental food discovery today

Was eating some chicken fajitas and the dogs were begging for food so I opened the pork rinds to give them as a treat and discovered eating a few of those along with the fajitas had a complimentary taste effect. I was thinking the spicy ones may have been even better but I just buy the regular so I can share with the dogs.

The last time I recall such a discovery was when I was camping and mixed salt & vinegar chips with Campbell's bean with bacon soup since I was out of crackers.

Anyone have any discoveries of their own to share?

Hmmmm. Not sure if pork rinds are safe for dogs. Obviously yours have not been affected...

Chicharrónes (pork rinds) made into a paste are traditionally added to flour tortillias when making chorizo and eggs. You can make the paste by blending olive oil with the pork rinds in a blender.
