i think it depends on what the situation calls for. choose the right tool for the job. like asking which is better regular pliers or needlenose without know what job needs to be performed

I like both. But I dont think i'll throw my AR in a mud puddle and then see if it jams. My polish AK....yeah i know it would do it.

While I have a higher end AR, I believe that any AR is going to be more refined than my Romanian WASR 10 AK47. My WASR has a very rough action, I can't even slingshot the bolt; I have to push the bolt forward when chambering a round. I may have fixed the issue by filing on the hammer and bolt carrier but I won't know until I shoot it again. If you were to buy a higher end AK than this not likely to be an issue.
