Thinking of getting AK47 with 7.62X39. As you can see from my count, you can figure I'm new to this forum. FYI, I'm also pretty new to shooting.

So I'm here seeking advise on which kinds of AK47 to get.

Thanks!

I've had a WASR, a Polish underfolder, an I.O. (stay away from this company) and a number of Arsenal's. Out of all of them, the Arsenal AK's were by far the best.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a better example of the type 56 than a mak 90. Smoothest, best shooting ak copy i have ever shot. Spend another 80 bucks to make it 922r compliant, and you will have shooter.

Check out atlantic arms - they have a wide selection of AK pattern rifles. Feel free to pm any specific questions.

Also take yourself down to H&H and rent one to shoot. They have several.
