After a year of reading Glock em down's posts I've gone to a Glock EDC gun myself.
Better sights...older eyes. This Glock was so cheap I just could not see sending a 1911 to Novack or a mill happy gunsmith to get cut for better sights. I put a set of Truglos on the Glock... and can see those out both halfs of the bi-focals
I love SW revolvers... even carried my 65 a few days this week... (my clothes work with a jackass rig a few days a year)... my J frame still backs up the Glock.
The Glock 19 is a much better solution in most cases. And a better evolution than the 17 (had one forced on me ... did not like it at all). having a box-o-ammo in the gun and spare in a Commander sized package (just a tad thicker than a 1911) is a good thing. Best $450 I've spent in a long time.
