It was hilarious watching the liberal media crowing about how this election was going to determine the future of Trump, and would be the harbinger of the 2018 elections.
The democrats should be really worried after a net loss of 1,042 state and federal Democratic posts, including congressional and state legislative seats, governorships and the presidency during obama's tenure.
The general population is sick and tired of the political correctness, and the, give my money to those that didn't earn it attitude.
Will the democratic party even survive? (this should start a **** storm.)

Ace and YG will be along shortly to tell us how foolish Georgia and South Carolina voters are.......
Hey *******if you're going to drag me into a thread that I've not participated in, go ahead and point out where I've ever said that any voters are foolish.

Watch the post election spin for some real fun. I can predict it now:

- Republicans will, naturally, point out that the win was a repudiation of the attempt by outside forces to influence a local election by bringing in and funding a carpet bagger (a very large proportion of Ossoff's funding came from CA and MA). They will also say it affirms that the wave that brought Trump into office is holding

- Democrats will acknowledge the loss but say that the relatively narrow loss margin, in what was once Newt Gingrich's district, shows that the future belongs to them and that it is a harbinger of trouble to come for Republicans

My view is that while of each of the above may be true to some degree, most local elections are just that, local. News professionals and party partisans love to read way too much into these elections because it helps with rallying the troops and fund raising.
