Watch it again and notice the clothing the suspect is wearing. From personnel experience, I can identify the outfit as a set of ABU's, standard uniform for the US Army. Bloused desert tan boots. While I don't in any way condone the actions of the suspect, to say that you're glad he didn't make it seems a little harsh. The officer did what he had to do, no doubt, and no fault in it. A sad end for all. Hopefully he was just a thug dressed as a servicemember, and not a combat vet suffering from PTSD.

Whatever.....combat vet I don't know, thug who got what he deserved...YES!!! PTSD did not have **** to do with that encounter.

I was amazed how the guy was able to duck back into his car and drive off, only to die half a mile down the road. As another poster here said, adrenaline does crazy things to a person. I hope the three kids will be taken care of, and they won't suffer lasting mental trauma over watching the man die right next to them.
