So, I would like to see DOJ do an investigation into the failure to have him in prison for his two major prior offenses. Someone in that chain needs to be held accountable and I mean put in jail for either dereliction of duty or collusion or something.

There was no need for the US Marshalls to arrest him, the city or state shoudl have done the job. Regardless, ti was done appropriately int he end.

The shooter had fled The state of Oregon. Portland and Oregon State Police would have had no jurisdiction in Washington state. That's why the US Marshals made the arrest.
